A Magical Deconstruction
Some Product has unearthed very rare and unseen photos of the famed Catalan magician El Ballistico. His very short and lively career came to a sudden end in the year 2000, as it was his wish never to perform magic in the 21st century. He has not been heard from since, although rumors continue to circulate as to his whereabouts.
El Ballistico practiced what is now known as deconstructive magic. While having a great respect and admiration for the art and in particular past masters of magic, Ballistico often times deconstructed his own tricks and illusions right on stage in front of an audience. At the time many people thought that he wasn’t very well rehearsed or just plain no good, however we have since realized that what he was really doing was distilling the true essence of magic and sharing it with his audience, right on stage. It is by no coincidence that deconstructive cuisine started to develop and gain worldwide notoriety in the Catalan region of Spain, almost at the same time as Ballistico’s last performance.
We are very happy to make available the limited edition El Ballistico tees through our good friends at El Kartel as well as on our online shop.

Jean-Michel Basquiat
I personally really hate the word “fierce” to describe any thing or action. However Jean-Michel Basquiat’s work can easily be described as fierce. It’s also incredibly stylish, full of raw power, energy and life.
Pictured below is a custom dyed Basquiat t-shirt from Some Product and a JMB painting entitled – “Fuego Flores”.

Erotic POP
Some Product photo and design work initially intended for an album cover, but never used. With nods to the great pop art of Alan Jones and Tom Wesselman. This artwork in one form or another, will likely appear in a new and upcoming SP project very soon.

Hanging around The Weekend Girls
A series of water color paintings – “The Weekend Girls” reproduced on tees. These little gems are available in a limited run only through the Some Product online shop.

“In a perfectly liberal sexual system, some people have an exciting erotic life; others are reduced to masturbation and solitude”.
The Libertine Symptom

“Without beauty a girl is unhappy because she has missed her chance to be loved. People do not jeer at her, they are not cruel to her, but it is as if she were invisible, no eyes follow her as she walks. People feel uncomfortable when they are with her. They find it easier to ignore her. A girl who is exceptionally beautiful, on the other hand, who has something which too far surpasses the customary seductive freshness of adolescence, appears somehow unreal. Great beauty seems invariably to portend some tragic fate.”

Mycommunitee X Santa Muerte
Mycommunitee was extremely happy to do some work for my friend Rafael of Santa Muerte. We printed some canvas cotton fabric that was used for incense and candle packaging in his latest collection. I have been friends with Rafa for years. I really love this guy and have always been a huge fan of his work.
