Sex, colour and desire have never been expressed more beautifully then in a Guy Bourdin image. His photographs are visually striking and complicated, all in one. They tell a story without ever giving away the ending or providing a resolution. His visionary work, is really one of my great life long loves and influences.
An excellent exhibition of his work is currently on view at The Somerset House in London. If you are there, it’s an absolute must.
We recently had an amazing opportunity to be a small part of the wardrobe for these incredibly talented performers during CircusFest Vancouver. Absolutely in awe of their skills and dedication to a craft. the pictures speak for themselves.

Emily Bach form the band Dirty Spells conjuring up some very serious Cosmic Energy with her violin while wearing our Cosmic Jellyfish dress. Truly perfect synergy! xx

I say this in the most sincere and reverential way possible. The Jeff Koons retrospective at The Whitney is easily one of the single best art shows I have ever seen. His ideas, humour and attention to detail is incredible and he literally redefines and elevates the idea of pop art in his practice. His art is brash, explosive, fun and inspiring in many ways.
Seeing his work as it relate to physical space was particularly fascinating as we are right n the middle of designing our own art/retail space. There are some very similar interests and obsessions that we seem to share.
The show is absolutely a must if visiting New York City. It runs until October 19, 2014.
Our good friends and colleagues at El Kartel are having a grand opening party for their new chinatown location. We printed some tees for it.
Artwork by Tim Barnard.
We got our hands on some great pics of Alexis Young from Sex with Strangers on stage in our Crystals leggings. As well as singing and playing keys, Alexis is also a very talented designer and illustrator. Peep her work here. These photos are courtesy of Andy Scheffler, and her work can be seen here.
Backstage photos of MU minutes after their debut show. We are excited to be working with such talented and beautiful friends…
